Just saw it too! I'm fine with them combining the two chapters together, actually but they should've made Akako cry, like in the Scarlet Temptress. From what I understood in the manga, just the spell won't work and not her ability to perform magic will be gone.

But she doesn't cry at all. *holds up reprint and original* She sheds a few tears in the bloopers section, but I'm pretty sure that doesn't count. ^^;

It sounds like they're doing the "Blue Birthday" chapter from volume 3 next and that'll air on October 29th. Hakuba will likely show up then in whichever chapter they decide to animate afterwards.

I didn't even notice Conan I was to busy being  unhappy about it being the Tokyo Sky Tree and not Tokyo Tower.  Mainly because oh how tall the building Kid's heist was in needed to be to be close in height to the observation deck Akako was standing on.  Is this the first use of the Tokyo Sky Tree in anime?

Guess what? After watching with Mandarin subtitles, Full Metal Alchemist (Brotherhood), Shakugan No Shana come to mind LOOOOL

oh yeah i meant teary-eyed but she did that in the anime, too. my bad! and reprint!!! i've been waiting for that in my country!!! will definitely buy!

10.1% rating for this episode (MK record and 3rd place behind Sazae-san and Chibi Maruko-chan).

This one was the best so far
