Who else would want to see Kaito Kid and Lupin III try to steal the same thing at the same time? (My brother & I were talking about the possibility last night.)

This would be freakin' AWESOME! But I'll give Lupin III the edge cause he got companions unless Fujiko would fall for Kaito's charm, Lupin would be very distracted!

Disclaimer: I don't know if this thread has been done before so please bear with me...

Lupin III is the main character of a popular anime. Kaito Kid is NOT a main character of a popular anime.

Lupin III wins.

This is what would happen, imo

Lupin hears about the object, which invariably has some mystical purpose
Lupin would sneak in, think he had it
Kid would pop up randomly when Lupin was out, and steal it from him

Goemon cuts another worthless object

Lupin confronts Kid and manages to steal the object back
Lupin uses the object for its mystical purpose
Kid sees it and goes "oh well that's cool, but it's not the jewel I'm after!" and he flies away
Lupin says something about the real treasure not being something he can sell
Fujiko whines because she wants money.

Right. And I think they won't include Kaitou KID unless Conan is also in it.
And Conan VS Lupin was all over and done.

The VS thing isn't really what I envisioned it when I 1st read about the Special... It's more of Detective Conan & Lupin III...

I'd love to see a proper anime special about it, though. Just because I love them both and think a clash would be epic...
