The English adaptation doesn't give you the same feelings as the Japanese, but I don't think it's supposed to. If somebody does something one way, you don't want to just copy them. An artist never copies anything exactly. It's creative and more original when you do it to your own style. Both Kappei and Jerry represent the characters well, just with their own little twists.
We can't expect Kappei to suddenly learn perfect English with a perfect accent and play the part in two languages, now can we? That would be ridiculous.

Why is that? There are plenty of talented people out there who can do a great number of voices. But they don't do it, either because they don't have the connections, or because they prefer to do something constructive with their life, or because they don't like anime and don't want to be involved with it.
