Kaitou Kid Anime Series or Not?

It would be very effective because we already saw an example of a Kaitou Kid anime, the first part of episode 219. Besides if gosho made an anime then he can intertwine the two series and make better crossovers. If Kaitou is fighting the same organization as conan then he can show other members of the org in the Kaitou anime.

Unrelated note: Hmmm, I still wanna finish Yaiba, only have seen the first 10 epsiodes.. It's too soon i thinks, for Gosho to start another series... Then again Yabia, is a matter of lack of subbs, not it being finished.....

But if your set on a Anime based on a great thief, well as any good Otaku can tell you, there are other series...

Like Dn Angel, which i watched wayback when, before DC, and when i saw Kaitou Kid, i swore they were very much alike, but i don't know if i would agree with my old statements now.

Eitherway, i am of the conclusion, it won't happen, but if it did, i wouldn't hesitate to watch it.

Nah... the reason i love Kaitou Kid appearances it's because he envolves a huge mistery... If we can see Kaitou in an Anime series eventually we figure out that mistery. I think he should be a mistery... There is no fun if you know what is inside a box before you open it.

the two characters are strong
conan-shinichi have the brain
kid have tricks in his sleeves

if they combined their force, they will be a very good team
beside, kid is not a bad buy - shinichi thought so on their first encounter

For one thing, it would cause a lot of new people to realize how awesome DC is.  That could lead to a surge of fansubbing talent finding interest to sub for both shows.

i actually think its a good idea 4 a kaito kid anime which explains his past and fills in the gaps left in DC but the anime should be short i.e. 5-10 eps.

I am a Kaitou Kid fan, so yes.  I would love to see an anime of Kaitou Kid which means more screen time for Saguru Hakuba for the win.  Kudou Shinichi or Conan Edogawa could also enter into the Kaitou Kid anime at random intervals in the timeline.  The thing is, however, that it probably wouldn't last too long -- or be anything like a Detective Conan -- but I suppose that a anime version of the Magic Kaito manga would entertain.

I think they really should at least do a 4 part thing that basically shows the more important parts of Magic Kaito and actually explains why Kaito Kid does what he does. (I have not read much of it, because I hope this will actually happen, but I would guess that the first two episodes would show the origin of this Kaito Kid, the 3rd one would show what a Magic Kaito equivalent of a case is (a theft =P) with some random character development and the 4th one would be KID VS. HAKUBA)

Hell, if they did that instead of episodes 512 and 520, I would have enjoyed every single 2008 Conan episode.
