It was originally pretty much comedy but it's kind of serious crime fiction later on, like in the Nightmare and Cat's Eyes arcs. Animating all of it would be awesome, but i'm not sure if they would :/

At least making mangas with KID(this time from KID`s perspective not conan`s).But what happened with the organization that chased KID?Was there a manga saying what happened with them?There wasn`t any plot continuation in the anime .

Magic Kaito is currently on indefinite hiatus.  It's unknown whether or not any new chapters will be added to it.  So no, beyond the four volumes or whatever number of chapters that is... there isn't any more other than what you see in Conan.  The plot was never resolved.  Personally, I'm hoping that if this anime thing is a success, Gosho will do more with Magic Kaito.
