I hate the art style, but the plot isn't that bad. I'm not sure how I feel about how similar this is to Magic Kaito though (gotta say Nakamori is so much better than that Inspector Holmes guy ), I know it was basically the prototype of MK, like MK was of DC, but still...
IMO, it's good, but I've got to say I really prefer Aoyama's more recent stuff.

LOL. Although Lupin III is awesome, I guess now you realized "Nonchalant Lupin" really is the title of the prototype MK chapter. xD;;

I love how in the church Inspector Holmes is all "yep, totally saw that coming" about absolutely everything Kaito does. And I now have so much new headcanon about MK.

That when Kaito and Aoko get married, they have a Christmas Eve wedding. Also, that eventually Nakamori learns to trust Kid, and outside of heists they end up with the most bizarre working relationship ever. And that Aoko would totally have a detective club at school, but at one point she ran into a nasty type and Nakamori put his foot down.

And their names are really rather awesome, because Holmes and Lupin? So crack, but I wrote that fic. Holmes/genderswap!Lupin so it's reversed, but still...
