Proof: The clocktower heist is presented as a flashback. Kaito remembers the heist as he prepares to fly over to the Haido City Hotel on April 1st.

I don't think Problem 1 is an actual problem, the whole disguising-as-Conan thing is clearly meant to be a meta-joke to the viewer (I admit it made me laugh aloud) and not something to be analyzed or even cared about.

Very good call with Problem 2, though. I'd like to have a neat timeline for DC/MK (makes Grand Unifying Theory easier) and I don't need the animators to throw random things that destroy it into the show, seriously. Seeing the DB was a nice touch, but it'd have been equally as nice with just Genta, Ayumi and Mitsuhiko. Me not like.

This is kinda what I was HOPING was going to happen for any cameos since it would help tie the timelines together in a way that made sense.
