Detective Conan FanComic: The Shrunken Prince
Posted: August 18th, 2011, 2:18 am
I'm making this forum topic to introduce Mareliini's newest DC fancomic called: The Shrunken Prince

UPDATE: Mareliini has her scanner back and is in full gear!
She was inspired by this picture drawn by pemolalinifan: http://pemolalinifun.deviantart.com/gal ... s#/d45t0dn
This story is going to be based on a fairy tale version of Detective Conan.
Here's a little description Mareliini wrote when she just began:
And somehow the question "Couldn't Detective Conan be retold mixing every fairy tale together" jumped back to my consciousness yesterday. I was in the car and started doodling and it felt so interesting I got exited.
So the answer to the question is: Hell yes!
Because I'm still al little afraid writing in English I decided to make the tale in cartoon. I drew last night at 04.00 am. and there's five page so far. Drawing is so fun <3
Thought I know what kind of story I'm doing and what is the big plot, details are under blur. That's why I made Utopia so ~ variform. So there's the classical waterfall if need, there's Rapunzel's tower if need, there's the swampy tract, the lighthouse, forests, mountains, villages and rivers.
And there's some weird tower which blows soap bubbles?
I'm here to request the fans of DCTP to read this wonderful comic. She'll need motivation for Mareliini she admits that she has a bad habit of not finishing things as she states here:
The biggest challenge with this TSP is to make it to the end. I have a bad habit to start something with massive inspiration and rush and lose the interested after a while. And I still have that Finnish fanfic I'm working on. But you know, sometimes it feels so overthought and dark, it is so wonderful when I can jump to the TSP where nothing is impossible and - aww I'm so happy - I can draw talking bugs when I want. So please, please, please be an active reader because sometimes it is the only thing which pushes me to continue. This especially when my inspiration will decide to go the holiday.

and just keep on clicking Prev to see the next page. She has some extra things in there too!
I'll post them on this here Forum if people want it here but I don't see any huge use to that.
Please read and support nice Mareliini! Her DC drawings are amazing too, go check those out.
