Who here makes/likes AMVs?

I make them whenever I have the time, and watch at least one a day. I think one of my all times favorites is "Enter Gaara" by Breeman http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/members_myprofile.php?user_id=50614. I am currently working on a s-CRY-ed AMV using Ulead Video Studio 11 Pro (I tried several DC ones, but could never picture the right music for them...).

I've made something like 20 or so AMVs before... I started with Naruto like 5 years ago.. I've kind of grown out of that anime now, though. I did like 2~3 AMVs for Naruto. But now I just do Detective Conan. I've made one FF7 Advent Children video, too, if that counts...

Lol I just use the good old "Windows Movie Maker"!! It's simple, easy to use (if you have all the codecs, which I do) and FREE. yay, right?

I've done 4 AMVs for Detective Conan before. i didn't find it so tough after I found the right songs for it! I've done one HeijiXKazuha tribute, one ShinichiXRan tribute, one Conan/Shinichi tribute and a Haibara Ai Tribute... Haibara was comparatively easy coz well... I used an Evanescence song for her "Where Will You Go".

Only the Heiji/Kazuha one, I've used a Japanese song - Sincerely ~Ever Dream~ (by Dream).. it's a Hikaru no Go opening and it suited them so well... I've remade that amv twice because well the first one sucked 

I'm a little iffy on uploading any of my amvs (I'm embarassed)... I'm still thinking about it.

But if you want to see them, I can see what to do about it...

I've never made an AMV, but I have seen a few here and there. I've seen some that are done really well, and extra bonus points if I see a clip from an episode we subtitled that I notice is from our release .

hehe It's inevitable that you'll wind up seeing one of your works in Detective Conan AMVs... you guys have subbed the large majority of the episodes! (Which we are all grateful for, btw  )

Making AMVs is fun; you should try. The only problem is that it is very time consuming and can really piss you off if things don't go how you want them to (but then again, that applies for everything in life, doesn't it?). But a lot of people prefer making Slideshows for Det. Conan because it's a lot easier than the amvs as opposed to more popular and newer animes, I suppose.

A shame this Anime isn't as popular as it should be *sigh*. But hey, that's what we crazed fans are around for to change!

So, for some unknown reason, I ended up creating an AMV / Tribute of Shinichi-Heiji friendship. Never done it before, not skilled in video editing in any way. So, take a look and bash appropriately.

I make tons of AMVs... I'm not going to embed them all here, it'll exceed the limit. Just look me up on YouTube as KeldaMacFeegle. I've made general AMVs but my speciality is movie tributes and fanfic trailers.

Not sure about the reason though... It's not like it's a song about magical thieves.

The song that I think fits KID best is "A Thousand Lies", but it's been done a million times. Same for "Joker and the Thief". All the other songs I think fit i've already used, sorry XD
