Hey! These are so cool. It's really nice. Did you do some of your drawings in photoshop?  :)

OMGosh OCssss!!!!  -glomps-

Everyone knows OCs are the coolest <3.  It shows real creativity to create your own characters (I can't do that because I'm a n00b T.T).  You got some very cool comic/anime hybrid styles!!  Your colouring is so pretty too *_*!  I love how smooth your lineart is, how long have you been drawing?

*fangirls*

I can't help but wonder at the pixelation of some of the pics, maybe you should save it in a different format or don't compress too much when you save to JPEG :3.  Also you should try colouring the lines so it isn't black all the way though :).  Thanks for posting your pics!

I love drawing OCs, My OC took about 6 years to design XD This is her in all her glorious-ness (A friend of mine drew this for me, I didn't do it XD)

Image

Shes in that outfit because I can't design clothes for sh*t >_>. I've been drawing since I can remember lol, but I started drawing seriously about 2 years ago, I went out and bought tons of "how to draw manga" books and worked off those. They're pretty handy!

Also, the pixelization is because I resized a few of these images for the forums because they're huge XD, on my deviantart they're not as pixelated. I just recently discovered the awesomeness of saving things as a png *.* I'll never go back to jpg again XD.

I've tried changing the color of the lines, it sometimes works out, but black lines are my friend. In the first pic the lines are actually brown and in the 5th the lines are colored ^^. Thank you for the advice though! I'll try to work with colored lines more often ^^.

Well I find colour lines to be a good subtle polish to most pictures, but I think it all depends on your style.  Your style look excellent by itself <3.

Wahhhh your friend draws soooo nice tooooo! I love her hair, it's so complicated xD.

OpenCanvas, a sketch program from Japan, nice pic anyways. BTW, is there an OC for Vista?

Incorrect my'dear. well not really, but in the context we're using for it, it is.  :3 OC means "Original Characters" IE. Characters you make up your self. :3 Thats what makes it different to fan art.

I have open canvas, flash, and corel painter, I just rarely use them. All my pics were done in Photoshop CS which a friend gave to me.

Also there isnt really an illustrator program I found yet that differentiates between XP and Vista, just mac and pc. So there is an "OC" for vista.

oooh... okay thanks.

So you did all these using photoshop? I seriously have to learn how to draw there. I don't even know the tools -.-;
I might have learned this before, but that was during elementary... so I don't remember any about it p.q

Err basically to draw in photoshop:
  • Click on paintbrush
  • Draw on canvas
  • : D
Or if you're really technical:
  • Make custom brush set
  • Modify the flow and opacity
  • Draw on canvas
Or if you're doing vector:
  • Click on pentool
  • Draw points on canvas
Sorry ignore that, that was completely useless.  Umm I guess what I'm trying to say is that you should just play around with it instead of trying to remember instructions on it ^^.  Just go nuts.
