I'm thinking of writting a fanfic with Kaito Kid and I was wondering if I could get a couple of opinions on the Kaito kid note.  Feel free to try to solve it if you want.  I actually don't think it's complex enough.  I'll post the meaning behind the lines after I get a couple of opinions anyways.

Is the BAKER a reference to the Baker Street?
Maybe I'm reading too much of Sherlock Holmes but it seems to have something to do with the books...

Sunset... Sunset mansion? :V

Okay I've given it a couple of days brownie points to anyone that figured out some of it.... here's the break down.

At Sunset once again  (Sunset Mansion.  I worded this to make people think time instead of location.)

The hounds will come to bay. (Hounds as in the people after KID.  Hounds Bay or Howl when they  catch the scent of what they are hunting.  I worded it as bay instead of howl to make people think location instead of action.)

Oh mother crow, why do you cry? (refrence to the organization and the children song)

The BAKER on the right knows why (refers to Sherlock Holmes and his location thust hinting as to where to look right.  In other words you find a location on a map and right on a map is EAST)

Death is his name but it did not become him.  (I'm not sure about this part.  I vaguely remember someone mentioning the meaning behind Shinichi's name 'Shin" dead 'Ichi' one.  If anyone actually knows for sure tell me please.  Also the phrase "*blank* does not become you" has the word 'did' instead of 'does' indicating in the past.  In other words it's hinting that someone tryed to kill him in the past.)

Beware the Spirits they look to hunt him. (I'm surprised someone hasn't called me on this one... spirits as in Alchohol as in the organization's people.)

Raven boars must know nevermore! (Raven as in Black.  Black as in corrupt.  Boars is another word for a wild pig.  Pig is a slang word for a Police officer among Criminals.  Raven and Nevermore of coarse refer to the poem 'the raven' which is about a man who realizes that he's never going to be forgiven.)

Do not condone the murder of Crows! ('Murder of Crows' is actually another way of saying 'a flock of crows'.  Crows of coarse is refering to the org.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_co ... _for_birds )

Private is the eyes that must hear the herald.  (Heralds call out news.  Private as in the obvious meaning and Private + Eyes together meaning private detectives.)

Do not bring your puppets to show and tell. (tongue and cheek refrence to Kogoro, Sonoko, Agasa etc etc)

I actually think I need to add a couple more lines to this .... I totally forgot the time and date. LMAO.  Anyways tell me what you think please.  This was just practice anyways.

Maybe some background information about the case would be needed so as to solve the riddle, especially because of the references to the organisation. (Not to mention I'm bad at this kind of riddles and not even a native speaker... ;P ) What's going to happen in the story, anyway?

Should've seen it. xP So all the lines should be read as individual statements, not trying to relate them to the others?

Why is 'BAKER' all-caps?

@ Laurelin I don't even have the case 100% down.  I'm still trying to figure out the little details myself.

BAKER is in caps because street signs are also.  (At least where I live)

I guess I have to delete or adjust the "Death is his name but it did not become him" line.

Good idea Kanelle! Although it would mean that KID knows Conan's true identity and that's not really certain.

Well, in my fanfic's I'm not making it certain. They work together but it isn't said if they know true identity of the other.
