I was thinking about fans one day, how fan works like fan fictions and such are sometimes very strange and weird and horrible. If done badly they can be hilarious, though unfortunately at the expense of the author or creator who probably didn't mean for it to be that way. Fan fictions are especially prone to this. It is understandable why I suppose. As something of a writer, to me it's so much easier to create my own world and my own characters rather than try to make use of another person's established universe - I'd worry about staying in character with their actions and their words, etc. etc. and so I've never written a fan fic, frankly I have no desire to, but I've read my fair share of them about various things. Of course, conversely, fan fictions can be so well written that they can almost be considered canon, after trawling through mediocre stories I've seen some real gems.
So....in this thread we come up with horrible ideas for Detective Conan that Aoyama would never even think of broaching or just bad ideas that you've seen.
Of course we should keep things appropriate.
I'll start off. What if someone wrote a story where Shinichi goes back in time and falls in love with Sherlock Holmes. There are a million ways a fan fiction like that could go wrong.
Or a story where Shinichi is actually a master hypnotist as well as the BO boss - he has multiple personality disorder and during his sleep, he commands the BO and commits the crimes he solves during the day with Kogoro. With his hypnotizing skills he ensures that other people take the blame for his devious acts.
Humor me.
