The result of a simple equation:
Free time+Boredom+Paint.net+Poster for Movie 14 =
It isn't exactly perfect, I was just bored and decided to see how far I could take it. It's not like I'm the author of the original poster, so feel free to color it or use it as you see fit.
A small update:
First I noticed a few errors in the lineart while trying to give the poster some colors, so here is an updated version of the lineart:

And here we have a copy with simple colors on top of the original art:

And here we have a copy with my first try at shading:

And here is a mix between the two, a result of playing with layers:

I may have done better if I continued a little more, specially the bg, but I'm getting tired of it and for my first try I guess it is good enough.
Update 2 (last one)
I know I said I was going to stop, but I didn't delete or move the original files from the desktop (I really need to clean up the mess) and noticed some missing lineart for the monocle. So i started to tweak the picture a little more and ended up doing a new, and in my opinion better, back ground for my shading version, and changed the color from green to blue in the original, well actually that was and accident but I liked the result so I left it like that instead of using undo...
