Wow, your shadows are just amazing. Did you use reference from the "Case Closed Casebook"?

I thought so. I did some shadows before, but I never did them well, since art isn't my forte.

I just put the original picture in Windows Paint and draw the characters black XD Then I draw the background white. Simple and fast =)

EDIT: And then I did some resizing to make the picture look better.

pause. i have no idea what "window paint" is. i don't know if that's an editor or a tool in photoshop :) hehe. i've tried once before but the result was lame as ever. it didn't turn into black&white, instead, it turned gray & a bit blurry and you can still see the character behind (with its original color) :) how pathetic am i?

I never figured out how to even start drawing in Photoshop XD
Paint is a free and very very simple program that comes with absolutely all Windows PCs (at least those that are newer than the 1995 models). With that program, you won't be able to see the original picture behind becuse you "delete" it as you draw over it ;)

Shinran: I downloaded that picture before you used it as an avatar ;D
(What does orz mean? =O )

ah, paint. i have here. it's just that i'm not familiar with WINDOWS PAINT as its name. i use PAINT as to make it simple. haha. i only do cropping there, pasting the screencaps, and so, but never had done editing. i think i'm going crazy and all my works will end up as drafts. :)

I also use it to remove subs from pictures so I can get some "unsubbed" clips XD It's a really nice program even though it's very simple.
