Shinichi and Ran coupling

Ran sat down on the couch muttering about Shinichi, wanting him to come back. She frowned just as she looks at the phone on the table, and almost picks up the phone but decides not to. Meanwhile, Conan is hiding behind a wall outside of the Mouri Detective Agency.Shinichi and Ran coupling

"You know what?" Ran says to herself. "It doesn't matter anymore. I'm not going to wait for him anymore."
I'm over your lies
And I'm over your games
I'm over you asking me
When you know
I'm not OK
And I'm over your games
I'm over you asking me
When you know
I'm not OK
Ran sighed. "He calls me ever so often just to check up on me, just like-" A pause came. "like he's playing with me!" The screaming and shouting now started. "I'm not some doll that you can just throw away whenever you want! I'm human, you know..." The tears start to flow down her face. "He should know by now," Ran sniffled, "that I'm upset without him. But, since he won't come back, I guess I'll have to move on."
You call me at night
And I pick up the phone
And though you be tellin' me
I know
You're not alone
And I pick up the phone
And though you be tellin' me
I know
You're not alone
The phone rang, and as Ran looked at the number, it was recognizable."It's Shinichi." She wiped off her tears and then muttered to herself, "Act as if nothing happened. I don't love him anymore."
She got the phone onto her hand and said, "Hello?" The answer she got from Conan, who was using the bow-tie voice changer to talk in Shinichi's voice was, "Ran, I-"
"I'm okay, Shinichi. I forgive you." Lies came out of Ran's gritted teeth. "Oh. Okay then. Well, when you need me, just call me. You're never alone." If Ran was in front of Shinichi this very moment, she would have smiled, but she wasn't.
"Okay, Shinichi. I understand." She hang up.
Oh
And that's why
Your eyes
I'm Over It
Your smile
I'm over it
Realized
I'm over it
I'm over it
I'm over
And that's why
Your eyes
I'm Over It
Your smile
I'm over it
Realized
I'm over it
I'm over it
I'm over
Ran imagined the many times that Shinichi had returned, and the same amount of times he had left. She imagined Shinichi, and his blue eyes. Her own eyes raged with anger. She threw up the pillow on the couch and practiced her karate on it. She imagined that the pillow was actually Shinichi, smiling at her. "SHINICHI, YOU BAKA!" She yelled.
For wanting you to wanting me
No that ain't no way to be
How I feel, read my lips
Because I'm so over
I'm sorry
No that ain't no way to be
How I feel, read my lips
Because I'm so over
I'm sorry
Ran had always wanted Shinichi to be by her side always, and she had wanted Shinichi to love him as much as she did. But, it was wrong to force people to fall in love. She didn't know, though, if Shinichi liked her more than a friend. Did he? But it didn't matter anymore, because she was over him. She would just find some other guy to love.
Movin' on and it's my time
You were never a friend of mine
Hurt at first, a little bit
But now I'm so over
I'm so over it
I'm so over it
You were never a friend of mine
Hurt at first, a little bit
But now I'm so over
I'm so over it
I'm so over it
Ran felt her heart ache for several seconds and then she told herself, "It's okay. I'll find the person just for me..." The aching then stopped and she smiled.
On the other side, where Conan was, he looked solemn. It was time to go back to the Mouri Detective Agency.
So, Shinichi and Ran would stay as...friends. Or, was Shinichi even a friend? All he cared about was cases, after all. Did he love cases more than her? Did he even care about her in the first place? She didn't know.
I'm over your hands
And I'm over your mouth
Trying to drag me down
And fill me with self doubt
And I'm over your mouth
Trying to drag me down
And fill me with self doubt
She looked at her tough "man-hands" and chuckled. Shinichi had never held her hand while walking together, just like a normal boyfriend and girlfriend. They just weren't meant to be, Ran realized.
She picked up her phone once again and went to her address book. She decided it was time. She pressed delete. Shinichi's number was no longer on her phone...
She knew that if she kept talking about Shinichi, kept thinking about him, and kept calling him (or he kept calling her), it would make her doubtful about her decision, and she wouldn't live it down.
But, she knew. She would do this. She had to.
Oh, and that's why your world
I'm over it
So sure
I'm over it
I'm over it
So sure
I'm over it
"I don't need to be in Shinichi's world anymore, now do I? I mean, his world is solving cases, and mine is karate. Right?" Ran told herself, trying to make herself calm, and trying to forget him, but saying his name gave her back her memories. The memories she wanted to forget...
I'm not your girl
I'm over it
I'm over it
I'm over
I'm over it
I'm over it
I'm over
"Maybe he really is dating." She sighed in relief. "That's fine by me, I don't really mind. Not any..." She stopped as the tears started going down her face for no reason. "Why am I even crying? There's no need to anymore.."
For wanting you to wanting me
No that ain't a way to be
How I feel, read my lips
Because I'm so over
I'm sorry
No that ain't a way to be
How I feel, read my lips
Because I'm so over
I'm sorry
Conan opened the door to the Mouri Detective Agency and saw Ran crying. "Ran-neechan, daijobu?" the little boy asked. Ran nodded, sniffling and wiping her tears off. "Yeah, I'm alright. How was your day, Conan-kun?"
"It was okay..."
Oh, don't call, don't come by
Ain't no use, don't ask me why
You'll never change
There'll be no more crying in the rain
No, oh, oh
I'm over it
Ain't no use, don't ask me why
You'll never change
There'll be no more crying in the rain
No, oh, oh
I'm over it
"I'm alright, Conan-kun. I'm just...over him."
Fin.
