Hard to tell. Both Shiho and Akai have a relationship with him we don't know much about. I think Conan will want to catch him alive but Gin will opt for suicide.

If it was up to Conan I think Gin would still be alive...and actually when I think about it, Ai is getting more and more influenced by Conan so maybe she won't kill him either...

As for the topic of Gin's death.. I've always been thinking either Shiho or Akai will kill him in the end (to avenge Akemi). But since Shiho/Ai is influenced by Conan now, she probably won't.. and Akai probably won't either, for some reason. So I guess the only scenario left and that'll please Conan would be sending Gin to jail, but that'll suck in so many ways. I'd rather see my Gin-sama dead with all his glory than in jail. As someone said, maybe he'll commit suicide. T_T

....I don´t think he respects Akai at all. And no, (I think) he wouldn´t go to Akai´s funeral, even if somebody would pay him for that.

Gin is the kind of person who does not bother remembering the names of the people he killed. So the chances are slim that he would go to a funeral, especially when the chance is high that some FBI agents are lurking around somewhere in the near.

Akai does know him and Japan has different rules on how to address people.
