Conan had quickly forgotten about the men in black to find his friend. He realized that going to them would do nothing and instead rushed the phone and screamed in his serious voice.

Conan: What the hell happened?! Please tell me!

Ohtaki: Oh...Conan...

Ohtaki was in Osaka obviously. He had a truly sad face.

Ohtaki: Oh...don't worry! The bullets only grazed them. They...will be fine.

Conan: Ran, they are fine! The bullets only grazed them.

Ran: Oh thank god.

Ran was relieved. Conan was relieved. Yet, his attention looked immediately back to Gin and Vodka, truly worried about his situation. He had his "I'm truly scared" eyes on.

Conan (thinking): It can't be? They couldn't have found out about Heiji's previous investigations on them or Eisuke could they?

Ohtaki: Conan...Conan?

Conan: Oh, Ohtaki-keibu. What is it?

Ohtaki: Can I speak with Ran again?

Conan: Oh of course. Here Ran-neechan.

Ran: What is it, Ohtaki?

Ohtaki: Please go into another room.

Ran did that without any questions.

Ohtaki: Don't talk about the truth to the boy. He seems close to Heiji. I will tell you what really happened.

On the last piece of One Piece
Previously on Member's Fanfiction...uh...stuff happened.

And now for the thrilling conclusion (conclusion? yeah right!)

Heiji: Well, guys, you came here really quickly.

Heiji was confused.

Ran: I know. You're ok, right?
Heiji: Oh, I'm just fine. We were just talking about that previous wound I got, right Kazuha?
Kazuha: You were the one yelling at me for talking about it, moron.

Heiji was oddly ignoring her for a moment.

Heiji: Hey, Kudo.
Conan: What?
Heiji:...you remember when that happened, right?
Conan: Of course. It was after I protected Ran-neechan.
Heiji: That was an interesting day that's for sure.
Heiji:...


Heiji: Ok, Kazuha.
Kazuha: Ok?
Heiji: You can leave now.

Kazuha hit him on the head.

Kazuha: Idiot, why would I want to leave now?
Heiji: Just do it.

Kazuha noticed something he had his detective look and while she wanted to see why, she knew it was best to leave.

Kazuha: Fine. I'll wait in the front with my dad I guess.

Kazuha left and closed the door.

Ran: That was rude. What are you doing? Cmon, Conan-kun, we'll get her back here.

Before Conan and Ran had the chance to leave, Heiji was smiling at them (again, with that detective look on his face). Heiji knew that he must be crazy for what he was about to do.

Heiji: I think it's time you two tell me the truth.

Conan: Wha... What truth?
Heiji: There was something more then just protecting her isn't it?
Ran: What do you mean Hattori-kun?
Heiji: I'm saying you two are hiding something!
Conan: We can talk about it later. Right, Ran-neechan?
Ran: Um. For now I just want to ask: What are you two talking about?
Heiji: It's nothing oneechan!

Meanwhile, back in Mouri Detective Agency:

Gin: Uhhhh, Okiya, I'm really sorry for pointing the gun at you during breakfast. I hope you'll come back and cook for us.
Vodka: Yea, what Aniki said. [pulls out a new non-stick cooking pan] I hope you like it.
Okiya: I don't know if I can take anymore of this. You just point a gun at me every so often. I can't tell if you're joking anymore. [sigh] I think I need a little moment just to be apart from you.
Gin and Vodka: Oh please! We didn't mean to up...
Okiya: ...just no. I just need a little space. If you need to find me, you know where.
Vodka: You mean THAT empty place?
Okiya: Yes. What about it?
Vodka: Nothing. This isn't your concern.
Okiya: Well then, I hope you enjoy the food [picks up the pan] and your new job. I'm going to leave now. You two will be fine.

A few minutes after Okiya left, Gin shed a tear took his plate and threw it at the door. "Without Okiya, we are pushed back on our schedule for the assassination plot," Gin slammed the table as he spoke.

Vodka interjected, "Oh well, it can't be helped. We should at least clean up the mess we've made." So Gin and Vodka looked around for an apron that fits (mostly for Vodka) and started to sweep up the glass by the window and the broken dish by the door. Vodka squealed as he held up the long-handle duster and zoomed around the agency to sweep away the dust.

Okiya snickered, "I wasn't expecting that from Vodka." Crouching behind the garbage bin on the other side of the street, Okiya looked up at the two to make sure they're alright. "I worried for nothing. They'll be fine working there."

All of a sudden, there was some shuffling sound behind him. "Who's there?" he said as he straightened up and headed into the shadow of the alley. Taking out his flashlight, he scanned around.
