Hmm. In my case it is that I like AiCon most, though AixMitsuhiko is also an interesting pairing. Yet I also like ShinRan (and several other pairings, like HeijixKazuha etc.), though I like them less than AiCon. And, as it should be noted, I'm much more a fan of Ai in general than of AiCon. So, we get (not complete, and I might have missed some):
Ai > AiCon > AixMitsuhiko > RyexAkemi > ShinRan > Mitsuhiko > TakagixSatou > HeijixKazuha > SonokoxMakoto > ...

Ai fans does not equal Ai+Conan fans.

This is what I believed at first about AiCons, but later discussing it with them, mostly Girl19 and AICHAN, I understood I was wrong.

WAIT, WHAT? What do you mean? I'm very confused now after reading this..
Let me make my opinion (and I think, AICHAN's opinion too) clear:
"AiCon fans" does NOT equal "Ai fans". I think I've already said that about 20 or 30 times ever since I came to this forum, didn't I! There are many Ai fans who don't like AiCon and pair Ai with other characters, or sometimes don't pair Ai at all. On the other hand, there are some AiCon fans who don't like Ai a lot, but they still think she makes a great couple with Conan (those people are rare but they do exist, I've spoken to some of them and in real life). However, as far as I'm concerned, I happen to be both an Ai fan and an AiCon fan. But I'm more of an Ai fan than an AiCon fan, because I first started to love Ai as a character and didn't care about pairing her up, but later on, after watching many Ai+Conan interactions, I started to slowly fall for AiCon. But, for me, it's still Ai > Ai+Conan. I hope I made this clear once and for all now.

No. I don't think it has anything to do with Conan being the main character at all. The people who think Ai+Conan is a great couple (who aren't mainly Ai fans, or Conan fans) are just people who noticed the special interaction both these characters have, and thought about the possibility of them being a couple, and liked it. That's it. Don't generalize, because the people in this forum only represent themselves, not the whole category. For all I know, if Ai had that same relationship with, say, Mitsuhiko, I'd be an Ai+Mitsuhiko fan just like I'm an Ai+Conan fan right now.

As I said above, I first thought this way, since there isn't a single AiCon who doesn't worship Ai. But now, that thoughts came to surface again, since this "Haibara fan-art thread" suddenly became an exclusive AiCon thread only... I still believe this thinking is wrong, or at least I want to...

Well, the vice versa may be true most of the time (AiCon fan = Ai fan). When you're discussing this with AiCon fans, you're going to be arguing with biased people. I believe that you are not wrong.

Not all AiCon fans are biased. That's just a stereotype. For all I know, you can be a die-hard AiCon fan, and still support other Ai pairings or Conan pairings. I, for one, am also a Sherry+Gin fan, a Shiho+Akai fan and a Shiho+Okiya fan. And I know AICHAN supports these pairings too.
@ all: And before someone jumps, again, to the conclusion that I like pairing Ai with random guys, that's not true. I only support 4 Ai pairings (Ai+Conan > Sherry+Gin > Shiho+Akai & Shiho+Okiya), and I have at least one valid reason for liking each one of these pairings.
@ Conia: As I said before, there ARE AiCon fans who aren't really fans of Ai/Shiho, yet they still think AiCon's interactions are awesome. Also, there are AiCon fans who don't like Conan/Shinichi a lot (and I am one of them when talking about Shinichi, I hate dislike him, but I still love Shinichi+Shiho).

For liking ShinRan, I can't like Haibara? I still don't understand...
As I've said from the beggining, this thread isn't only for AiCons. There's Ai fans everywhere, and not all of them support AiCon.

I'm probably repeating what you are saying and what I am saying, but the title is "Collection of Haibara Fan-art / Doujin's" not "Collection of AiCon Fan-art / Doujin's".  No matter what arguments people try to pull, this should be open to all Haibara fans, not solely AiCon fans. It just so happens that it is largely dominated by Conan+Ai fans, so ignore claims that ShinRan fans can't be here (they are probably/hopefully just kidding anyways).

I completely agree with both of you. This thread is about Ai, not AiCon. So Conia or any other Ai fan are more than welcome here.
Also, I think that even the non Ai fans can hang out in here, as long as they don't bash her. Same goes for the AiCon thread, even non AiCon fans should be welcome there, as long as they don't bash it. That's just how I see things, I don't know if anyone agrees..

I would keep coming even if rejected, although I didn't feel rejected, but suddenly attacked. I also wanted to show ShinRans and AiCons can perfectly live together, since I do have a great relationship with them. There's no need to establish such differences between users for their opinions.

I thought at first that you lots were just kidding, but I was surprised to see Conia feeling attacked. It's really a shame to see AiCon fans and ShinRan fans as, well, 2 different races. It feels like racism. lol I have no problem with most of the ShinRaners, I have many ShinRan friends whom I respect dearly. The only ShinRan fans I hate are the ones who keep insulting Ai/AiCon and its fans. And to be fair, there are also some AiCon fans who insult Ran for no reason.. All those people should wise up by now and respect the various opinions. This is what I learnt, slowly, after registering in this forum which has more open minded people. In other forums and sites (like YouTube), it's just a complete mess.

I've already read all of the above that coming from you, which is why I mentioned you, since from that discussions my opinion changed (I was expecting you to remember them after reading this, but I was wrong, oh well )
