Well, I will accept the idea  â€‹â€‹Amuru is bourbon

But if it turns out that  Akai is okiya

Here I will stop watching Detective Conan !!

It's not so sudden. There's been a lot of evidence that Akai and Okiya are the same person:
-Both are left-handed
-Both tend to keep their hands in their pockets
-Both have similar faces (the glasses make it harder to tell, of course)
-Both use similar expressions (referring to the Black Organization as "wolves")
-Okiya was the "Red Guy" in his introductory case. Akai means "red".

Honestly, Gosho did a pretty good job with this. We didn't get to see all of what Akai was capable of during his time in the series; seeing him in action again should definitely be worth the wait.

Well, I'm really not happy

Amuro = Bourbon, Okiya = Akai would be better if I wasn't spoiled by people pointing out all the hints :/ I wanted to be mind blown as much as when Vermouth = Araide and Mizunashi Rena = CIS and such, but due to people pointing out tiny bits of details and even doing look comparisons, it became obvious and the reveal wasn't as good as It should be. Really without people pointing out the hints I would have never guessed that Akai is Okiya, since the death scene was pretty realistic. Now even if Gosho reveals it it would be boring.

Guess I will now ignore the manga section altogether to avoid getting spoiled by people pointing out tiny details that will make plot twists boring as hell. Especially since DC is a mystery series.

DCW is no better, I mean why the hell would a wiki has fan made theories on the character profile pages just to spoil whoever wants to read a character's background in detail?

DC is a mystery series, and mysteries are supposed to be able to be predicted before the reveal with the right deductive reasoning applied to the hints. You aren't going to get some sudden, random twist unless it serves as a hint, red herring, or plot device.

1. x = x revealed, erm yeah I knew that, because smart fans posted theories on it, not so surprising.

2. x = x revealed, omg wow what a twist, never even thought about it, awesome! *check previous chapters to check for hints* Wow hints are there!

I mean how many people would notice details like both left handed, both keep hands in pockets, or Okiya was the red guy or w/e minor details. You won't find them unless you're desperately searching for it.

Well, you're in the spoiler thread, for one thing. It's to be expected to be spoiled about cases. And the theories tend to be labeled as spoilers too. (Chekhov's theories are mentioned in the rules here as being practically spoilers.) I guess I'm not affected as much because I'm a new fan (I caught up to the releases at Chapter 819). Although, even if it's spoiled, sometimes the author can still make a reveal truly epic.

Well, you're in the spoiler thread, for one thing. It's to be expected to be spoiled about cases. And the theories tend to be labeled as spoilers too. I only come in here to check if new chapter raws are available. But theories are everywhere, like I said before, even DCW (a frigging wiki -_-) which spoiled me about some stuff with damn theories with all the hints listed.

My biggest problem is with the Sera revelation. Didn't Gosho himself make a joking remark about her being the sister of popular character (or something similar)? I thought that itself would negate any chances of her being so. The clue for Amuro's identity did get found rather easily. If I remember correctly, the same day the file he was introduced in was released, someone made the name connections similar to Akai's. The rest of the revelations seeming obvious are mostly just great detective work by the people here and on other forums.

If Okiya is Akai (which at this point Gosho is making it too obvious), then I doubt he reveals himself anytime soon. I can't see there being a big showdown between the FBI and the Black Organization, Kir being exposed as a spy, and everyone finding out Akai is alive, only to have that end and things return to normal until Gosho decides to enter his final arc.

Because a wiki's job is to include all the details a fan might be interested in, including the most popular fan theories. Don't like it? Skip to the Plot Overview and ignore the clearly marked speculation sections. And people were interested in the theories, theory pages got 4K, 5K and 13K hits.
