Again, if Rum's texts reflected that specificity ("Bourbon, it's been _ hours and _ minutes..."), it would be one of those details that would swing me towards Muga = Rum.Spoiler:that type of phrasing (stating two time units) hasn't really been commonly used, so it would stick out as a sore thumb to any reader that's following the plot. If Gosho is going for a "hidden suspect" route, then that would be a very unlikely move for him to make. It would be obvious that he is copying Rum's dialogue and in turn framing Muga, which defeats the "hidden suspect" purpose.
ultimately, there's only so much you can do to portray impatience, if the character in question is intended to not only stay unknown, but behind a phone. I just don't see the point in questioning Bourbon's clear and evidence-consistent profiling of Rum's personality.
As a specific detail (had Rum been that specific in either or both of the texts to Bourbon), it would be quite the detail, upon Muga being that specific in his impatience in 1,040. But that's for those who retain the specific details, panel by panel—for those who regularly theorize, for those who take in a file's first untranslated spoiler pics within an hour of them dropping. For those who don't, who believe that Muga is just Momiji's butler, they're not going to read Muga's two lines of dialogue there and immediately go, "oh, dang, he's Rum!" For you and me, Muga turning out to be Rum is not going to be a shock—we're fully prepared for that twist, by this point. But for those who aren't DCTP/DCW/DC Discord regulars, this reveal would be quite the shock. They'd be shocked when comparing Muga's lines in 1,040 to Rum's texts in 1,008/942 and 1,010/953. With them, Gosho's hidden suspect has already been successfully hidden—and I don't think Rum's texts lining up with Muga's 1,040 lines would change that.

Yeah, that would line up—if Gosho plays it that straight, in terms how tight the correlation is between Senba's murder and Kōji's.
CARASUMA (mirror) + UMA (Rumi's shogi piece) + G (Knight chess piece) = MUGA CARASUMA... this one's stuck with me—I haven't heard an alternative claim that has really matched it for me. Although this assumes, again, that Gosho plays it straight, and doesn't have any manipulation of the message (i.e., zerozaki's assertion about how the mirror was cut).
