The Gripped Scissors
Conan and Haibara research Haneda Kouji's death at Agasa's place. On the same day and in the same hotel as Kouji a wealthy person Amanda died as well. At that time Amanda's bodyguard was suspected, but his whereabouts and identity were unknown. That means that 17 years ago the APTX4869 poison already existed. How old Ai is, Conan asks. Ai insists that she is 18. The drug was created by collecting what was left behind of her parents' research and reviving their work. And while it seems she made a different drug, but she fails to mention it here.
Returning to the case, they discover an image of a broken hand mirror. It was a cosmetics company's promotional article with 'PUT ON MASCARA' written on it, but only the letters 'P T ON' were left. In addition to a defence wound on Kouji's arm, there are traces of him tightly gripping scissors. When Conan says that, Agasa remembers anther case concerning scissors. At his own discretion Okiya comes by with meat and potato stew and suggests to go there together.
Okiya who Ai is suspicious of asked Camel who is elsewhere to be "her (Ai's?) bodyguard".
At the crime scene the body remained unchanged. Near it is a mop, despite the victim apparently having gripping scissors. Glass cups are lying around and there are blood stains belonging to the first discoverer. There were people holding a grudge against the victim which is why there are two bodyguards. A body search revealed that the first discoverer didn't have anything on them that could have been used as a weapon, at the time of the discovery the victim was already dead. Right now, the first discoverer's wounds are tended to by a policewoman.
When they confirm that the water tab had been left open, Okiya says that the case resembles one regarding Haneda Kouji.
■What is it that's concealed in the past Akai Shuuichi talks about?

"Vad ska jag annars vara?" - "Det vet jag inte. Det måste du svara på. Men om du släpper allt du tror att du måste, och frågar dig vad du vill... Vad vill du då?"
Bash has already translated most of the key aspects but I'll add a few more ones:
Spoiler:
Title is "Gripped scissors"
. Haibara says she "resurrected" the research by gathering notes left behind by her parents: that might mean that the research had been on the halt for some time until she started it again
. Okiya does come in and Haibara is suspicious, as Bash said. Camel, somewhere else, got told by Okiya to be "her" bodyguard (we assume he means Haibara)
. It's not a "security check" but a "body check": it'd seem the first discoverer didn't have anything that could be the weapon used in the crime
. The rest is as Bash has said: the first discoverer is said to be a policewoman. And we've got the 2 bodyguards too. So there are 3 suspects.
"Vad ska jag annars vara?" - "Det vet jag inte. Det måste du svara på. Men om du släpper allt du tror att du måste, och frågar dig vad du vill... Vad vill du då?"
So Koji died 17 years beforehand? That would make Shukichi 11. Just how long has he been in the Haneda family?
What if the drug Shiho/Ai made is the one that can shrink people, and APTX 4869 is invariably lethal?

“Life is infinitely stranger than anything which the mind of man could invent. We would not dare to conceive the things which are really mere commonplaces of existence. If we could fly out of that window hand in hand, hover over this great city, gently remove the roofs, and and peep in at the queer things which are going on, the strange coincidences, the plannings, the cross-purposes, the wonderful chains of events, working through generations, and leading to the most outre results, it would make all fiction with its conventionalities and foreseen conclusions most stale and unprofitable.”

So Koji died 17 years beforehand? That would make Shukichi 11. I wonder if he remembers Shuichi... he might not even know Masumi exists.
Sorry, If I misunderstood, but
Spoiler:
Shukichi doesn't know about Masumi? If Masumi was texting him then he would know she exist, wouldn't he?
Spoiler:
Except she's not texting Shukichi. She's actually texting Shuichi/Subaru.

Even if that theory might be true, Shukichi (if he indeed is the mid bro) didn't change his name until after his high school graduation, when he was about 18 years old. Masumi was 6-7 at the time, surely he must know that she exists.

But he definitely did know Koji before he was 11.
Though, I must concede I should've edited that part out. In fact, I edited a lot of content out of that post, since I first put it out there. In fact, I just did.
Gosho seems to have confirmed that Mary is MG's name.

Gosho seems to have confirmed that Mary is MG's name.
Spoiler:
As if there were any doubts before that Aside, I wouldn't count this as confirmation just yet.
Spoiler:
I think we're both pretty sure, in any case—but mentioning Masumi and Mary separately seems to make clear that they're not the same person, as Shinichi/Conan speculated in File 930, and unless Gosho intends to introduce a new character in this case, it can't be anyone besides MG. We might see them in this case, since Gosho also said Shuichi/Subaru was going to appear "soon," and he's already appeared.
And what do you typically use for?

I can't expect what is going to happen next any more but I really wish to read a confrontation between akai and ai finally they are in the same case again she has been suspicious of him for so many years and a lot of things happened since the mystery train case I really want to know what she thinks of subaru and even what she thinks of akai as moroboshi dai :/ :/
I'm hoping for that, as well—we'll have to see where this thing with Andre leads, also.
It just occurred to me—what if this other drug mentioned was what Shiho was really working on? What if she worked on it under the guise of working on APTX 4869? What if APTX 4869 wasn't the drug given to Shinichi, and he and Shiho/Ai were guaranteed to shrink, upon ingesting it?
Since she never mentioned this other drug, before, and then didn't elaborate when it came up, maybe she's been lying about it.
