. This girl's part of karate club in another school, has lot to Ran several times and nicknames Ran "Overthrow Ran-maru"
. Conan thinks about how Haibara and MG look alike: if they were blood-related then Akai would also be blood related with Haibara

. The contributor's "nonsense" is the following: "An alien got off an UFO, killed the editor while hovering the air, and fled with the UFO!"
. Sidenote: "No weapon, and no traces of 3rd party... Let's solve this unusual murder case!"

it can be quite awkward to bring up something from the past this late in the game(or in general for that matter), if it was THAT important to her for him to remember, then she surely might've put that effort...(or she simply wants him to remember by himself, otherwise she might feel too unimportant to him)... Because everybody is in such a rush to deal with this(also, since Gosho has been teasing their love drama too much), it's understandable that we might get the implication that she strongly feels worries over this matter,...but I think her inner complaints are simply supposed to be a comedic relief...
IMO, the Chiba and Naeko plot is nothing but a casual love story without any significant foundations that has affected the characters a lot(if anything, Naeko has grown to be more shy then what she seemed to be in the past) compared to Satou, Shiratori and Fusae, who's personal histories with a certain someone has affected their future(Matsuda/Takagi, Kobayashi, Agasa). So I'm just planning to enjoy their story for what it is, and not for anything more(unless Gosho develops their individual character more) because in the end, I think their casual story is pretty enjoyable comedic wise! (just wish that we can get back to the plot (*^*)

hmm... that managed to slip from me actually. Since no real discussion started there, though, I'll delete that one.

Can't help but notice from that phrasing, the way Conan seems to be totally convinced that the mg is a blood relative to Akai and Masumi, to actually start thinking about the possibility of Haibara and akai being blood relatives , i mean, sure he noticed the resemblance between Sera and mg, but he must have had a solid proof to be so sure about them being blood relatives, right? Or is he just going by the resemblance as a definitive proof?

I think he doesn't really doubt Sera and MG being relatives in the slightest. They even know this because she said to call her Masumi's sister to Conan.

As for "the sister from outside the domain", Conan still have to deduce the meaning of that appellation , also he is still referring to her as "that girl" , "the person she (Sera) seems to be hiding" or "mysterious girl" ...implying his present doubt about her being Masumi's sister.
The real question is: if he truly has no doubt about her being a relative to Masumi and Akai, and isn't convinced that she is their sister...What does he think she is to them? (I know, I reached a dead end XD)

Sure, if the MG is Elena or if the MG is Sera's mother and Elena's sister, then technically both Haibara and Sera "like" her, but it would be a rather odd phrasing if it is about a mutual relative imo
