That looks really a very logic reasoning. I'm looking forward to knowing more about that "mysterious girl". Because we never saw Sera communicating with her mother and she does not seem to like to talk much about it. It's so unusual.
And what we are sure about is that this mysterious girl is an APOTOXIN victim.
Then there's the day Conan said that he believes that he saw Sera before. It could have been that Conan met her mother, that is that "mysterious little girl", when he was still Shinichi.

The fact that I even assumed that Sera could've asked her mother was because I was confident that she was living financially well, since usually someone who has a family member working for the FBI, or any other enity, has a high income and can support the family financially. .....or so I assumed since they said the father's friend(who I believe is James B.) is kinda rich.

that would be a plot ruiner. After all this build up about sera having only two siblings, I doubt Gosho will pull off another lie.....like with Amuro lying about conan misunderstanding

yea but that could be when they were kids. Ran met sera as well but since she only got a feel of the surroundings of her meeting, it must mean that she met her long enough in the past to not remember Sera, like when she was a kid(unless the NY fever happened that time too).

If Yuusaku was a friend of Akai's father, shouldn't Yukiko also have met Sera before(wouldn't make sense otherwise that shinichi met her, but not his mom, unless there was a special scenario). If yukiko did meet her, she should've told shinichi who she was during the MT.

akai might've told shuukichi about conan and even sent a picture through a message while he was disguised as okiya OR just like Sera, he might've met him once(or at least observed his intelligence once before)
