Returning to Bourbon facing Okiya (maybe-not), it recently occurred to me reviewing "Wedding Eve", the first time of Amuro appearance and find out that Gosho probably put there the weak side of Amuro:
he was too sure that Bamba was the culprit and continued to refuse the identical twin hypothesis because highly improbable. So we have:
1) He is stubborn and self-confident
2) His deductions are a little bit inaccurate

He is sure Okiya=Akai, and he is sure to be facing him, while the real Akai is at Raiha Pass ready to snip at BO men,
he is sure he already outsmarted Conan and he still don't understand which consequences he's going to face.
I'm pretty sure that Vermouth already planned to kill him as soon as he delivers Akai, in order to avoid he submits his discoveries to the BO.

So what we will have is:
a) Amuro turns himself as an ally
b) Amuro dies

In the middle a bit of explanations... we deserve them, or not?

they might had another plan on their mind, but (just like when kaitou kid showed up in the MT case), yuusaku showed up out of worry(or Yukikos request) and conan made a new plan!

If the show was on tape delay, it's possible (especially with a chartered flight). It requires only about 10 hours to get from L.A. where the awards are being held (most likely) to Tokyo, so that would give them roughly 1-3 hours to prepare the disguise.

Amuro openly say he know why the victim hires him despite having a friend in the FBI. I first guess its western-Japan culture difference(to grading), but the point was never explain again. Did Amuro just try to annoys the FBIs or something?

I'm somewhat puzzled why Amuro would immediately tell Conan that Conan 'misunderstood' something about him. Wouldn't it have been better to play along and see what information Conan lets out?
