It's actually more probable of SA being Vermouth right now. Amuro messaged her right when Sera went off alone, and Scar Akai appeared right afterwards.

Let me try to persuade you then
SA can now talk well enough to convince Sera s/he's the real thing. That means someone with experience in disguises. Aoyama wouldn't chuck someone in out of the blue so KID (unlikely as plot and KID don't mix), Yukiko (why would she disguise as him? O.o possible though) and Vermouth (fits in with Amuro being undisguised and not being shocked at someone else being disguised as Akai. Has to be someone he'd recognise, prob'ly org)
Vermouth/Bourbon told Gin/Vodka that Sherry was aboard. As far we know Amuro(who I'm presuming is Bourbon) didn't see Haibara and anyway, he doesn't know Haibara is Sherry as far as I can tell. SA both saw Haibara and knows the Sherry-Haibara link so s/he is the only available option I can see to tell Gin/Vodka.

Also, I'm saying Fusae is the Mystery Woman, putting it here for quotage when I'm right/wrong. I'll probably say the reasons I think so tomorrow when I'm not so tired D:...

@wbflu: Nah, Sherry's Soliloquy mentions all the BOs having AiPhones which is probably partly a joke and he never directly says it's Apple. The symbol is obviously a reference, but not the same.
Plus, other characters have things like Ony Xperikan so it's not *just* Apple references.

Sorry Stopwatch, remind me when did Sherry say something like all the BOs have AiPhones? If it's something said in this topic, I couldn't find it :/

@wbflu: You mean smartphones, not just iPhones (Ai's is a Prada phone btw). Smartphones are pretty big in Japan now, and Gosho just likes to follow the latest trend. While it's only been less than a year in DC time, all the trends in the DC world follow in real time.

I was just reading file 820 and i realised that Conan probably knows that BO is on the train... On page 4 he gets really angry at the DB and tells them to lock their doors and  not to let anyone in.. ( probably to protect them)
So the message he got was either Vermouth or the mystery woman... So Conan may actually know the mystery woman..

I think that the message that Conan recieves is from Akai (assuming Okiya=Akai), and that is somehow related with Conan's face to the window.

I thought that smug face indicated he solved the case already, because he was thinking about the burnt mark on the sofa being visible from the door right before smirking like that. And I felt totally bad whilst thinking that because, seriously, I have no idea how the guy was murdered or who did it. I hope that it wasn't like 'all suspects (rooms a, c, d, e) working together' as that would be too much of a reference to Orient Express. I really wish for all those references to turn out to be red herings. :X
Might be possible though when noone 'officially' saw someone suspicious peeking out from room A...

I know BO/plot is important but has anyone got ideas on the murder so far?
I get it that someone took the uniform to get rid of the light bulbs and maybe 'prepare' the rooms and that the tunnel was somehow necessary so that noone could get a detailed look/someone could walk around unnoticed, but that's about all. =(
Like: Who was the victim talking to on the phone? Why is it important that the rooms are bigger than normal? What about the watch/shinai/picture/sportive maid? The visible burnt mark on the opposite sofa?

As for the plot....anyone got an idea just where Haibara and Okiya met? I first thought it was that mentioned storage room (she seemed to have run to the end of car 8) but there aren't shelves or the like. It wasn't a bathroom either.

... Personally I don't know what to believe now. I may be a bit naive to have fallen for Gosho's trolling, but then againis it really trolling? I admit, I've been a big fan of Okiya=Akai for a LONG time, but... I just don't know... Well, let's look on the bright side! Gosho finally revealed Sera as Akai's sister! ... Not like we didn't see that one coming. It was kind of obvious. But here's the POSSIBILITIES I can think of:
- As somebody previously stated SA is Vermouth. It would explain why the scar is longer this time and the fact she managed to ffool Sera, who is his SISTER. The theory was written before, so I won't elaborate. (I'm slowly leaning to this theory because of Okiya mentioning the sisters. So it's CERTAIN, that Okiya is either BO, or Akai. And that he knows Ai and Conan's real identities.)
- Gosho was trolling us all along, dropping subtle hints that Okiya=Akai, only to make SA the real one.
- He's been reading this forums and because Chekhov had him all figured out, he changed the plot at the last moment.
Incase you wonder the last one is a joke. So yeah, all I really have out of this file is that Okiya MUST be either BO or Akai. With Gosho making him seem like the bad guy and SA talking with Sera, I'm leaning towards the Akai option. I don't think Akai would endanger his sister like that, since he would know that BO is on the train and talking to her would probably make her a target. Also Okiya knew the Miyano sisters, so he HAS to be involved somehow. I really don't know right now, Aoyama could make ANYTHING happen.

Haibara does mention wondering whether she should have an iPhone and about Vermouth owning one on the 2011-12-17 and 2011-12-09 entries in this topic, but nothing about all of the BOs having iPhones. I guess that was just my own observations mixing in with the half memory...

which are all reasons why it's almost certainly true, but none of them are reasons that it has to be. A good disguise doesn't mean it has to 100% be someone who's good with disguises, even Heiji had a working one via Yukiko.

again, I am not saying I think it's someone other than Vermouth, I'm just saying that it has to be her isn't entirely correct.

and yeah, I think the mystery woman is Fusae as well, but I can't say it with enough certainty that I'll bet money on it yet.

However, one would have to assume that Sera knows the voice of her own brother.  Therefore, it'd have to be someone who sounds exactly like him, or could imitate his voice.  There's nothing in front of his mouth, so clearly no voice changer.  This means he has to be either Akai himself, Kaitou Kid, or Vermouth.  Recall, however, that previous appearances he did not speak to those who would know Akai's voice, so this is almost assuredly not the same Scarkai that we've seen up until now.

So yeah, this Scarkai is likely Vermouth.

A conductor uniform went missing I have to wonder if that has relevance to the case or someone in white was planing ahead for next month.

Also I have to ask is there really no way off that train?  Because I went over a river in chapter 821 and well i can thing of two recent pieces of media where someone jumped off at a river crossing and didn't die. Granted I'm not sure how fast those trains were moving just tossing out ideas of Ai.

My opinion on who's who on the train:

Mystery woman - Yukiko, though I'm wondering after reading these posts whether it's Fusae
Scar-Akai - Vermouth
Okiya - Akai.  Of course, this has been suspected for quite a while.
Amuro - the real (is there really a real one?) Scar-Akai, also Bourbon
Kogoro - Kaito Kid (no, really).  His mustache is killin' me, and while Kaito usually has flawless disguises, it makes sense that he would do something a bit off to maybe clue Conan in.

Also, confirmation that Sera is Akai's sister:  check.
New police officers:  check.
Gin & Vodka:  check.

Seriously, either something major's gonna happen (likely), or Gosho's the worst troll in history.

I don't have much time to post, so most of my thoughts are going to be at DCW because I don't have time to duplicate like usual. Hat lady is probably Yukiko. Vermouth who is currently Scar Akai this time around (Scar Akai needs a voice this time I guess so it had to go this way) reacting to the hat lady makes Yukiko extremely likely to be the hat lady. It looks like the lady might have said something to Scar Akai/Vermouth too in that empty panel as they passed, and Yukiko never got the opportunity to call out Vermouth for the fake death of Sharon/friendship betrayal/whatever you want to call it in the Vermouth arc. The Fusae theory was always a long shot.
