I was thinking about how, when Kuroda is thinking about Kouji's case, a picture of the corpse is shown. This wasn't in the web, because Gosho would have showed it, so that means that Kuroda saw the corpse elsewhere, right?
Maybe it's just like Jodie's photos, that he saw photos of the crime scene because he works on the police, but it could also mean that he was at the very crime scene, 17 years ago.
Also he seems to know Wakasa... I wonder where they met. Also, when he thinks about her, the clothes she is wearing do not resemble any she has worn up to date, but, they don't look like Asaka's clothes either (bcs of the colour).
And just a side note: in the page where they are eating the curry, there's a panel which I think it was drawn exclusively to prove that the basketball guy with the bad eye can see with that eye.

Either that or it's like the last page of File 956, where Ran has that flashback—Vermouth's face is clearly shown, but Ran is then established to have not seen her face. In other words, Vermouth being shown in that panel was more for our (the readers') benefit. File 956, though, was a flashback to something we'd actually seen (File 429–File 434/Episode 345), while, here, in 987, not only had we never seen Koji's body (apart from his hand, in a photo), we haven't seen how the Koji/Amanda double murder went down. So it does lean more towards Hyoue having actually seen the body than not.

So I went through the translations done by one of the translators on the file 987.

One thing is for sure Kuroda knows Rumi.
SO there are two ways to Rumi-Kuroda story.
I will try to keep my points related to 987 only.
1. Rumi is Kuroda's apprentice/collegue
So the first point says the whole story itself, And I even gave my view on this previously on any other thread, that i don't remember.
Anyway, So Rumi had been undercover all this time, Note the fact that Rumi came after Kuroda was introduced, So the possibility is Kuroda gained his position and then, After getting all the things needed he called Rumi, made her go undercover and after he noticed conan, he found the perfect plan and established her as a teacher.
2. Rumi is on the Run from Kuroda/Rumi is BO/ Rumi is the uploader for the Kohji Haneda's case
When Kuroda heard the reference related to Rumi he was shocked. Not only that he was giving the looks of a hunter(I think).
Not to forget that he was searching for the Haneda case himself in the start.
Now more instances from the file.
1. Kuroda viewing website having kohji haneda's case, to gain more on the case on which he worked and to probably get to know its status (Maybe)
2. Given the fact that he starts to think about Rumi simultaneously while thinking of the case make me wonder how and why? He got this link between both of them.
3. Intriguing thing i found in this chapter was Shiratori's way of speaking, He was telling Kuroda about Agasa and Conan as if Kuroda knows everything about them and meets them every now and then.(Probably I am thinking way too much)
4.The part when Kuroda states the phrase " Unlike her/ That's not liker her " , gives a different aspect of their relationship as to how and why kuroda is so devious (for the time being).
5.Conan going through previous encounters with Rumi and also giving a flashback to her part of work, she did to claim conan's help. The doorway to basement all cleaned, the receipt to all the stuff she bought that day etc, making him come to a final conclusion that rumi wants conan in what way he doesn't know though.
6.Last but not least the glare-stare between Rumi and kuroda was something Rumi never expected nor wanted.
7. Not to forget when he said Kogoro's Bag of Wisdom, I think he knows the truth about Sleeping Kogoro. Who knows he may even know who shinichi is ..

Considering that Kansuke, Koumei and even Yui to an extent think more or less the same of Conan as Kuroda, I doubt he really knows the full truth, but more like that he knows about Conan's high intelligence without knowing about any of his secrets like Jodie and James as well.
Im for option 3:
Rumi is investigating the case on her own (Kohjis sister/girlfriend).
They probably met in the past and Kuroda during an investigation(simply a good cop) told her to get out of his way and dont interrupt.

Rumi clearly seems to have a connection to Kohji after this chapter. Her behavior towards the word "prosthetic" highly suggest that she knows of Rum's eye accident, and that she's reminded of, most likely, Kohji. I'm guessing she was gripping a memento of Kohji. If she's Asaka, then her originally being Kohji's bodyguard makes sense.
Likelihood of being Vermouth has diminished.
Looks like both Kuroda and Rumi are suspecting each other of being Rum,... what a funny turn of event.

From the look at Rumi's expression, It's unlikely that she and Kuroda are apprentice but they definitely know each other. Conan's real identity is at risk because almost everyone connected to the BO know he is not a normal child and they are likely to deduce that he is not a child. I mean Sera and her family, Bourbon, Kir, Vermouth, Kansuke, the FBI and now Kuroda and Rumi. They're going to find out eventually but why still Ran doesn't know. Gosho made all these characters know or at least suspect but yet Ran doesn't know. perhaps it's because she's kogoro's daughter and she inherited his stupidity ahahah.
Conan may be in danger of becoming a target, but still, his identity is not really at stake. The only person who might deduce it at this point are Bourbon and Jodie, but well, they are allies anyway, so that doesn't change much. Don't forget, shrinking is not really a concept that a person would think and even if they might, their first reaction will probably be like Heiji's - "Nah, that's nonsense." So, unless Kuroda or Kansuke suddenly have a reason to believe in shrinking like Akai or Masumi, I doubt they would make the connection. There isn't even anything to indicate that they know who Shinichi Kudo is.
