no one in my mind but the three suspects since in the end of the chapter 908 they were covering their faces from reporters, what i'm thinking is two of them were only trying not to appear as suspects and have a bad reputation among people, but on of them (RUM) tried to hide the camera flash reflecting in his fake eye

I think it would be too much of a miracle if one of them is RUM. Even Conan mentioned that. RUM would never back to the place of murder, that's not how the BO works. And for sure that's not how №2 works.

Rum having a prosthetic eye...does this remind anyone else of Columbo or is it just me? The actor who played Columbo had a prosthetic eye himself, not to mention how similar 'rum' and the 'lum' in Columbo would be pronounced in Japanese.

it would be a good reference especially if rum had the same personality

i personally will really like it because for the first time conan will be in real danger

i've been reading about him lately and really like how columbo works to get the suspects

Just to be sure, we weren't told Rum's gender yet, were we ?

Haibara said "that guy only had one..." in file 908, talking about Rum. But the translation is actually more like "That person" rather than "That guy/man", right ? Otherwise Conan would have commented/asked something like "Oh, so it's a man?!", I guess.
