And now most recently, in the latest Kid heist, Conan's conversation with Kid - how his mother played the role of Ryouma's Sister, Otome - seems to suggest that Kid knows Conan's real identity (after all, Shinichi isn't the type, nor is he so stupid, to so casually say something that revealing to someone he barely knows anything about) which has been movie canon since The Last Wizard of the Century (movie 3).
Both of these instances seem to suggest that the anime has had at least some affect on the original manga - something that I'm not aware of happening in any other series where an anime is based off of a manga series (and even if it HAS happened in other series, it's definitely rare).
Does anyone know any other instances where it looks like this occurred? And what's your opinion on the matter?
I personally think its pretty cool since it shows how closely Gosho Aoyama works with and/or follows the anime (at least the movies, I haven't read enough of the manga to be able to know if, or what, the animated series may have affected). It also opens possibilities plot-wise (esp. the 13th Movie). Not to mention that its just plain COOL to think that Conan/Shinichi really DID fly a helicopter and a plane (and a car temporarily
), chase after Kaitou Kid in a para-glider and take down an entire group of armed mercenaries almost entirely on his own!!! Lol!What do you guys think.
Oh look, it's midnight! I'm 23 now! Yay me!
