The case was...ok. I don't know what else to say. Clever by modern day AO standards but still just...ok. Yeah...

the ending was pretty great though (but would have been the best thing ever if it ended with Genta abandoned on an island). NO WE LEFT THE FAT KID, WHAT HAVE WE DONE?! And Genta can survive in the wild on the island and eventually he'll come back at the end of the series as a badass. Admit it, that would be amazing.

The case definitely had a good premise, but the conclusion was half-assed and forced.  So she can't tell that the windows are too reflective to see outside before making a scene?  And the second victim, who had to have known she had actually killed the first victim since she was the only other one to know it was fake, allowed himself to be called out to a cliff?  And then stood at the edge of said cliff, and looked out onto the sea instead of keeping an eye on the person who might kill him?  And during a storm, no less?

Add "Why didn't Ran and Sonoko look outside themselves when they heard Miki making a scene?" to the list. Oh wait, they're not Conan, they're stupid.
But then again, without all the naïveté there would've been a lot less murder in the DC world
It's still a good AO to me, comparing to, say, the next episode.

One good thing though, at least one of the other suspects called the culprit out on what a stupid reason they had for killing someone.  I mean I hear....well read their reasoning and I'm thinking really?  Though I suppose people can and do kill for dumb reasons like that.

Well yes, but this one is kind of up there and the dumb reason for killing people meter, certainally not the top, but still.

I had the murder trick pegged down quite quickly since it was similar to one I had seen in Monk when I was younger, but really that motive was stupid. Not a bad case considering some recent ones, but it could have been a lot better.

Not as good as the seance case, but still enjoyable. The culprit was a bit predictable, and the resolution did come out as somewhat idiotic, however I enjoyed the setting and the atmosphere.
