ok i can get him sticking on the name plates noticed and getting the belts on the cops but I'm stumped on cups and letters.  Unless they were brought in and hidden before hand.  He had to already sneak in to mess with the sprinklers.

The cups and letters, I think, might've been hidden there by the conmen. If not, Kaito snuck them in.

Can someone explain the ending to me? I don't get why the guys made 100 fake sake cups with blood on them.

The one guy that gets blood on it says it is a fake, so why would they make a bunch of fake items OF A FAKE ITEM!?

Wasn't the point to sell fakes passing them off as real? So there was no point to bleed all over the cups because then you can't sell them.

Ryouma's blood is supposed to be on them.  If asked to prove that it's a fake, he needed say he accidentally got his blood on it since it's actually his blood that's on it anyway.

When Conan started talking about how his mother, Yukiko, is a fan of Ryouma and how she played the role of Ryouma's elder sister Otame in some play, do you guys think this is starting to foreshadow that Kid knows who Conan is?

Cause if Kid is close to Shinichi's mom, then maybe Kid knows that Yukiko is a fan of Ryouma and played Ryouma's older sister before in a play... Anyone thought this too? And is Phantom Lady, Kid's mom?!

I'll be the first to admit that I am a HUGE Kaitou Kid fan. Having said that, I was really disappointed with this heist. I mean, we see Kid once every, what, hundred episodes or so? Despite that, he rarely got ANY screen time! He didn't even APPEAR in the first ep (unless you count the quick voice-over while Jirokichi was reading the card). There was the scene in the bathroom, the actual heist (which pretty much consisted of him appearing, setting of the sprinklers, and disappearing), and then his meeting with Conan at the end! I just went and timed the episodes and even counting the voice-over from the first episode, and the time while where Conan was going over his deductions in front of Kid while he was in disguise (through most of which Kid doesn't actually appear) - he was on screen for LESS THAN 6 MINUTES! I mean COME ON! I feel totally cheated - if you're gonna put his name in the title of the episodes...*sigh* I'm ranting now. Sorry. It's just that I had SO been looking forward to it...

I will admit that I LOVED the scene in the bathroom where Kid temporarily locks Conan in the cubicle by putting a stopper at the top of the door. You just KNOW he was laughing at Conan's height!

The end was also interesting since it was the first time in the actual series (ie outside of the movies) where Conan admits that Kid knows who he is - or at least pretty much admitted who he was. After all, how many detectives have mother's who are stars in the movie industry? It'll be interesting to see how that plays out.

Please it's much more fun for Gosho to keep us guessing.  Though we all want him to know because it's not very sane for him to be treating a six year old as and equal.

I know, I love trying to figure that out as well! Those episodes are also fun to re-watch once you know who Kid is because you see the interactions with the characters in a different light.

That's just IT though! We didn't even get to do THAT! >:( The only disguise he used was the one of the fat guy, who we don't see until Conan starts talking to him at the end! I was serious when I said he got less than 6 minutes of screen time (in OR out of disguise) between both episodes.
