On one hand, definitely better than the last 2 Kid cases and had actual development for Kid's story. On the other hand, no Detective Haibara. 

Still a far cry from Midair Walk or much of Magic Kaitou though.

It was at least kinda fun and I enjoyed the simple solution to the rain thing, as I was expecting something hilariously complicated. Also, I can't decide which was more awesome, Conan's one weakness being a stopper or everyone's complete surprise that THEY HAVE BELTS OMG. 

Probably would have enjoyed it more if the surprise development was...you know...a surprise instead of spoiled for me. I hope Phantom Lady is actually a surprising plot twist and is Yukiko. Just because it would be hilarious. But even if it is Kaito's mom, I can think of worse and more dissappointing twists Gosho could do. I've heard this plot continues in the new MK chapters so I'll read that tomorrow. It's Magic Kaitou so that'll probably be awesome.

The Police need to learn how to shoot already, they had the perfect chance to shoot Kid in the leg or at least threaten to shoot when he was just standing there in plain view. Police are supposed to draw their gun against dangerous criminals.

They don't really think they can catch a magician by just tackling him like they do every time do they... I know he isn't supposed to be caught until later but really, they should make it realistic.

Also I can't count how many times Conan had the opportunity to put him to sleep with his watch but didn't because he want to look cool. They should start using their head already.

They don't want to hurt Kid, and he's not actually dangerous just annoying.  And Conan likes showing off around Kid way to much i have to agree.  I think they love their little post heist chats.  Though Conan has to stop showing off gadgets in front of Kid.

Meh this is why I dislike Kid in the main manga, he breaks the tradition of criminals getting down on their knee and crying or getting a ball to their face (which is extremely funny to see).

I also find it amusing that the police hates Kid because they can't catch him when they got nothing but them self to blame for using muscles against a trickster. They should realize by now that not hurting a criminal that escaped countless time isn't working. Gun is the best option here, shoot him in the leg and hes disabled.

And that's twice as far as I remember that Conan let Kid go for the most stupid reasons ever. I thought he was a detective that catch the criminals while showing no sympathy yet he let a national wanted criminal go twice.

I like Conan letting Kid go actually because Conan doesn't think his capture plans though very well and we tend to end up with exploding motorbikes and thieves getting knocked of out windows.  I hate to think what would have happened if the soccer ball that took off Kid's monocle had connected with his head.  Kid needs to be conscious to land that thing.  I know it's not canon but than god he served to side in movie 8.  I also have a rant about keeping imperial eater eggs in one piece i won't go into.  Also i think if they actually hurt Kid it would turn those crowds he attracts into lynch mobs very quickly.

These were fun. I agree they were definitely an improvement on the Kid cases we've had lately. Jirokichi was somehow more tolerable in these episodes than he usually is, which was nice. (One good thing about him: wherever he goes, Sonoko goes. XD )

Not my absolute favourite Kid heist, but it was still fun to see animated... how did none of them notice that they had belts on?!

As a fanfic writer, my only quibble with Phantom Lady-related cases is that Chikage's appearance and personality are now completely different from the four panels she had back in MK chapter one, making my fanfics WORTHLESS! *cries over typewriter*

Conan came up with the bright idea that the metal detecting gates will respond to the pistol, but he never thought of the possibility of having the metal parts in the gun removed? That sounds like an extreme oversight to me

Well, Kaito's personality was changed for DC. The same thing has just been done for his mother.

About this case, it sucked because it has Sonoko's uncle. And all the cases with Sonoko's uncle automatically suck.

@Conan324: As far as I can tell, all Conia did was to put your two posts in the same one because it had ended up looking like you double posting due to two threads being merged. The actual content of the posts stayed the same.
@HADAA: You could only remove the metal part because they were fake, I don't think you do that with real guns and that was why Conan seemed surprised when Kid said about 'removing the lead'.

A real gun would have had a metal barrel, but apparently the fake didn't, which is what surprised Conan. He hadn't expected the gun to be fake, nobody did. That was how Kid got through.
