Golgo13, badass anime is badass <3.

I love all the stuff you listed actually xD.  Given I don't follow them as I follow DC.  Omg Doraemon <3.  Well I guess that's "slice of life", which doesn't have much plot.  Kinda like Yotsubato.  But I think even slice of life mangas will have character growth in them.  Like as we read the series, we learn more and more about the characters, allowing more complicated plots and jokes to play out.

Hahah I know eh.  You would think since the manga is so long the plot will be amazingly super special awesome with character development spanning years and stuff going crazier and crazier as time went on.  Well One Piece is kinda like that for me.  The more I read, the more I love the characters and the plot <3.

For me I really want to see:

Ai:  Oh hai, thanks for saving me.  Sorry for not bringing it up ealier.
Ran: You welcome ^^.  Oh yeah...that time I stayed playing video games in your house.  Why didn't you want me to go back home to check on Conan and my dad?

Ran was just kinda like her usual ^^ self and didn't even question Haibara at all.  Haibara was obviously distressed.  Didn't she think it was kinda weird?  If she does is she just planning on letting Haibara tell her sometime in the future, just like she's waiting for Shinichi to tell her he's Conan in the future?

... and Hajime no Ippo indeed has long never ending boxing matches and almost zero love progression but the characters have evolved and the crazy jokes are just too awesome

I miss the plot in DC although SM has given me hope but here we are to talk about wether Ran x Shiho/Ai makes sense in our twisted little minds j/k I think that we would see a character growth in Haibara if she decided willingly to let herself more open to Ran.
