Same here. Would anyone please care to explain ?

The songs are the same. The song playing in the confession scene is the Teitan Elementary School theme song... just in a different version! XD

Wouldnt that just make it a different song...

No. It's more of a classical, slow version of it is all. You see different versions of the same song all the time.

There's 15 for the movies, 3 versions with the lyrics on it (the other one performed only once I think during that fight scene in 'Crossroads in the Ancient Capital' movie), the original 1996 version, the 2007-onwards version, one as a BGM during that fight between Conan and Kaito Kid, the 'humming' version during a culprit's confession, the slow, saxophone version (the last time I heard is when Satou thought Takagi got killed in a fire in the port), the live-action drama series version (which has variations of its own I think)....... well, those are what I could remember. XD

Actually, the 'slow, saxophone' version is based on Conan's theme (this one being the original version based on "Boku ga iru"). It's such a great track, even better than the main one IMO.

Hmm, no I insist it was Kimi ga Ireba rather than Boku ga Iru. The said episode was 206 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLQgVpH5IeA - 7:50-8:15.

Oh, that track. In that case you're right indeed, since I was thinking of this version of Conan's theme : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWwYhHmv ... re=related !
