What after Detective Conan completes?

well everyone is wondering when and how detective conan is going to end. i just thought what after it ended.
is there any other detective series to pursue?.
well what will you do? and  most importantly what will DCTP do? sub and scanlate other mangas (like kindaichi and etc)or disband.

............. I'll continue making fan-videos and fanfiction- I shall ALWAYS support the couples that I do, although they might not come to fruition.

And just because DC is finished does'nt mean the threads shall close!  ;)

I mean, I'm pretty sure there are Inuyasha threads open even though INUYASHA already ended. There still should be a LOT to argue about. GOD knows what'll happen to the couples threads, though. :O I imagine we will start World War III... or maybe even start a new war by the name of "GOSHO ALWAYS HINTED THIS AND THAT AND BLAH, BLAH BLAH, BLAH BLAH BLAH, BLAH AND HE SHOULD HAVE ENDED UP WITH HIM/HER AND NOW I'M IN ALL CAPS RAGE!"...Otherwise known as GAHTATABBBBBBBAHSHEUWH/HANIIACR!

And as I saw somebody say (I forget who said it) just because Detective Conan itself ends doesn't mean they have to stop making movies and OVAs and everything else on that list!  :D

DCTP is probably going to re-sub AConan episodes; they'd also send agents to the studio in Japan, so that they may retrieve the masters of every single episode.
There you have it, all episodes re-mastered and in HD!

Though, we shouldn't dismiss the possibility of some of the staff going megalomaniacs and start doing away with other members, as a reflex to the shock of having ended DC; "disband" is too much of a  nice term to use.

Since I think the episodes and movies will go on even after the manga ends (a la Doraemon or SHin-chan), I haven't really thought about that.

Isn't it obvious? After DC ends there will be a mysterious serial killer. The culprit will be Gosho "testing out his loyal fans" and to see how long it takes police to catch on.

He'll also use this as an excuse to never write again.

My predictions are that he'll never be caught. People will be baffled despite every method being written down and explained in Detective Conan.

Haibara would be more open and give away more feelings.
Genta would STOP BEING SUCH A FATTY!
Mitsuhiko would be MORE into Detective work THAN science! (Oh come on, we all know he could do both!)
Conan would be... more realistic.
Ran would be less or MORE of a Mary-Sue.
Agasa would LITERALLY be an evil genius.
And Sonoko would stop starring at other guys!

From what I've heard people are complaining that the cases are starting to lack in the excitement that we had at the beginning of the series. And they're probably not geniuses on crime like Gosho. I'd imagine that the cases will start to lack even more.
But you REALLY wouldn't mind it if Genta started to randomly date Haibara? XD to me, characters being in... well, character are really important.

the anime and manga are very very closely linked in DC (relatively speaking) and given the small gap that exists currently i wouldn't be surprised if they end at the same time).

it's certainly true that they will keep making movies as long as the movies are profitable, but the lack of episodes/manga will not help that at all.

and yeah, such and such being ooc is overblown.
