I'm personally just ready to watch it slowly but surely wrap up with a logical quickening of the pace; enough so that it feels like stuff is happening at least as much as during the Vermouth arc (but in a shorter amount of time per arc hopefully) but not so much that it ends...well, before 2017.

That...is an excellent point. Although I like to believe that Gosho comes on and observes these forums every now and then, just to see what the fan consensus is.
