With the recap and having a scene from 616 repeated (like in 590 or 613), it's possible. Unfortunately, I think that as the case goes on, the pace will worsen. I hope I'm wrong though.

The average conversion rate for manga to anime is 3 chapters to 2 episodes.  There's 10 chapters in this arc, which equates to slightly over 6 episodes using this conversion.  As far as we're aware, the arc will be 6 episodes.  That means at some point we'll have to have a slightly faster rate of conversion than normal.  There's no way they won't go to the end of the third chapter for the next episode.

Just watched it, episode 617 does end at the same point as chapter 745. However, the episode takes 4 minutes and 30 seconds to begin (new material), which is quite long.

while he didn't exactly have the best British accent, I think the criminal's English sounded the most natural, because the timing was actually pretty decent, while all the other people seemed to have weird word spacing.

They slowed down the English lines so that the Japanese children would have time to read the subtitles. Of course everything sounds unnatural.

why not do that with hades's lines then? And if they did, then he did a better job of elongating his speech than the others did.

They did do it with Hades.  He's just that good.  He does it in such a way that it sounds more sinister to a native speaker while being slow enough for a non-native speaker to understand it.
