Blood in Detective Conan

Good day guys..

I'm new here in the forum but an avid fan of the series (I've watched all the anime eps)..

There's one thing I've noticed while watching the latest eps (especially eps 550++)..
The color of the blood becomes gray from the thick red color of the earlier episodes..

I know this is done because of the censorship of the anime..
I just want to ask..

Is the color of the blood censored in DVD version of the series??
Where can I watch uncensored version of the series..

the censorship nowadays really annoys me.. where can u see gray blood..?? the blood of the guy from

really looks like some asphalt diluted on the water coming out from his wrist..

They should have sticked to the usual dark red or black color..

I doubt it's different on the DVD version, but you'd need someone to confirm that.

Censorship has indeed worsen in the last decade compared to the 80s and 90s. For example, in the remaster of episode 1, they took out the head and the little blood that there was. It's a bit annoying but I guess that's just how it goes.

i have said this in similar threads before, but i will repeat it: i am quite squeamish and don't much like blood, so i don't mind the censorship or whatever you want to call it.

i mean, it's not like we watch the show for super accurate realism, right?

I have not really watched much of the anime since they switched Kogoro's VA, but I always thought that the color of the blood was censored to begin with. Did they just make it worse?... That's kind of depressing... -_-

The only times I remember the blood being a lighter red was in one of the older episode previews and in the first movie.

its getting much worse.. from red to dark red to black. and recently the grey blood..
