Matsuzaka Tori is playing Heiji; Okamoto Rei is playing Kazuha.

It seems that Matsuzaka isn't from a kansai region and needs to learn kansai-ben for Heiji's part. Kazuha's actress was born in that region, though.

And looks like Matsuzaka's skin might have been painted for the skin tone.

and yeah, Matsuzaka isn`t from kansai, obviously. I watched his performance in Shinkenger and Death Game Park, and he isn`t that black.

why don`t they find a guy originally from Kansai and has dark skin?

anyway It will seriously piss me off if shinichi has something to do with any analysis-duel with heiji in the drama

It looks like Heiji's hat will look fairly close to the one we're used to seeing.



The colors look a little off, though.

Still, it seems that both the Heiji and Kazuha casted are fairly excited about their roles. They've posted quite a number of pictures of themselves in costume.

Well, it's not going to be difficult casting Kuroba Kaito - they'll just ask Mizobata Junpei to fix his hair a bit and wear a white suit. XD What I do want to see is Hakuba Saguru... and Miyano Shiho for that matter just to complete the Five Geniuses.
