Calling all DC fans, need your help...

I need to re-capture a sound byte from an episode, but I totally forgot which one it was...

It was an episode POSSIBLY regarding Jodie-sensei. Conan was walking on the sidewalk contemplating on something when he saw someone drive past him. It was a really important person, so he phoned someone else to warn someone (probably Ran) regarding something. lol

There's a cutscene with a soundbyte (download link below) with a shot of the city at night (Beika, presumably) slowly panning up (from a street view/ground level) and then it cuts to Conan dashing towards a destination on his jet-powered skateboard.

It COULD HAVE BEEN one of the episodes where the skateboard still required sunlight to operate. Now that I think about it, it could have been the episode where Ayumi was taken by the alleged "girl stalkers/serial killers" in a white car, but I think Conan was riding solo on his board in the aforementioned cutscene.

One last piece of information I'd like to include is the fact that I skipped a lot of the non-essential episodes (series fillers) and mostly adhered to this list: http://www.anime-planet.com/users/chii/blog/posts/251

I believe that the episode I'm trying to find is one of the early ones (around 100-300), but I could be wrong. That's why I need help from my fellow DC comrades...

Please help me... It would take me a long time if I searched for this again... I'm using it as an iPhone notification sound, but I tried to boosted treble too much and now my phone startles me every time I get an email. lol

isn't the ayumi case the last/only case that uses the skateboard (definitely the last non-AO). assuming that is the case, it is either a that episode or a movie. (probably that episode).

What do you mean by non-AO? Also, I'm pretty sure it's not a movie, but the Ayumi case, to my recollection, is where Conan was stuck with Mitsu and Genta, right? Since the scene I was trying to described happened at night, I think the skateboard didn't need solar power anymore and Conan was riding his board solo... More help is appreciated.

ao=anime-original, not based on a manga volume. the skateboard got dropped pretty quickly in the manga (again, i think it was only used in one case). it was, however, used in some AOs after that, though i can't recall which. i do remember that it is in 128 (the AO redo of the Akemi case), but that case doesn't take place at night in the anime.

iirc, Gosho used it once more in the file before the red wall case (the second file with Haibara and Agasa meeting with Yamato and Uehara)

While you have a point there, auriculogenesis only said the episode with the scene he/she was looking for contained such a scene, not that the scene immediately preceded or followed the scene he/she was looking for

The OP is obviously unsure from which episode that scene is, so going exactly with what s/he described isn't going to help. And again, the skateboard was used very rarely in the manga, and I'm 99% sure it wasn't included in anything connected to Jodie.

My only advice is to watch the early episodes again.  That sound I seem to remember being used a lot back then.  The Coded Map of the City Case uses it quite a few times, but I'm not sure if those are clean enough for you to use.
