So Kudou Shinichi died...can't say I saw that coming. TAKE THAT SHIPPERS!

I'm glad Gosho decided to completely invert, subvert, avert, whatever the howdunnit and also used it as a way to presumably continue a seperate yet connected case. That alone makes the episode good, but it was done well as well so it was a great episode.

Was a good episode based on Hound of the Baskervilles alone. Soon as the OP hit I was saying I would be with the episode just for that. Otherwise, certainly interesting introduction to the next case.

Interesting change of pace with the "before you call the police..." bit. Was new. Good music use though, was pleased.

I kinda upset that Ran didn't go with Conan and Heiji, love to see her reaction of seeing another person named Kudou Shinichi too. I'm surprised that Megure and Takagi had no reaction of seeing another Kudou Shinichi.

That "Kudou Shinichi" can be addressed as Conan (Shinichi)'s cousin right?

I'm content that anime is back on track, sponsors are back, next episode preview and Conan's hint is available too.

Well, I didn't find it that bad (and the idea of another Shinichi Kudou was sth new, too bad that it was just the two of them that saw it), but I felt the beginning was strange ... first there were Ran and Kogoro freakishly afraid of the demon dog on the TV (and screming because of it), then there were suddenly Heiji and Kazuha in the room (and nobody was screaming! I know for sure I would, if suddenly there was someone standing behind me); then the case, where they .. well .. talked so much, they lost me with c- c- .. I forgot the word xD
but when they found out the woman didn't kill Shinichi, it got really interesting and I can't wait for the next episode!

I wish they'd show more of the Hound of the B.

I'm interested to see what this case is going to look like in the anime. I already enjoyed this part of it more than I did when I read it in the manga.

Lol at Kogoro managing to make it through life and stay completely clueless about the hound of the Baskervilles.

My brother's reaction to the new ED sequence: "I was waiting for it to pan out and Kid's flying behind them looking up Ran's dress or something. But no, this is all there is to it I guess."

My reaction was that it looks like something Ran would have put on deviantart.

I kinda roll my eyes at the "Magical/Demonic/God/Alien/Cyborg/Magic Banana" cases, It's almost always the same and features Ran screaming and acting like a 5 year old child even though it's the 60th time something like this has happened.

But this episode itself was really good, felt fresh, and I liked how it set up the real case.

I'm pleased that Aoyama didn't make that woman the culprit, or else, this would have turned into another one-person-suspect episode. I just wish that he would have let Ran knows that person's name is Kudou Shinichi. It would be funny to see her reactions.

Shinichi dying was indeed true, and this episode is proof of that. :V

Well anyway, this was a good episode. I'm expecting the animation for this arc would be good too.
