Kogoro's lack of wine taste: He's not alone

I read this and immediately thought of Kogoro:

"Beyond all mathematical hope, an experiment in England shows that the majority of people simply don't know the difference between wines."

Who the hell has the time to learn that stuff.
And how did you know that I can't taste the difference?

thats a question i always smiled about while watching Frasier ...
while i can understand that you can taste differences but they are not certainly linked to the prices... e.g. wine prices in germany... we have many cheaps wines from southafrica, italy, spain etc which have the same quality (as its said, i'm more of a beer/whiskey guy) as much more expansive german wines solely for the place where the grapes are cultivated and the time and intensity of sun they get... germany has quite steep wine hills while the others have much plainer ones on which its easy to use machinery which decrease production costs...

at least we know high price isn't everything...

*facepalm* ... now i have to drink a beer to forget that i know too much about wine i really don't care about :)
Just because you're not paranoid, doesn't mean nobody is following you!
