Just for once, I'm typing this as I watch it instead of just after it. (you might not notice the difference)

My thoughts for the first minute and a half:

You know the worst part of the OP. The song is good (maybe in the better half of them) but the dancing instantly ruins it.

Um...hello random 24 parody? ...This is somehow weirder than when Lucky Star did it...and now Kogoro and Yoko in a commercial make this the best thing ever. And it's different! It's not typical! It's better than basically all real commercials. It's like they read my complaints! DD

I really like the art for this episode. Some weirdness definitely but it seems less annoyingly bright and more...animated I guess? Mainly Kogoro, I love his outdated over the top expressions and laugh.

I hate how obvious the murderer and (probably) the poison is but at least the intial death scene was clever and it's an area with a ton of people (which basically never happens).

Well this was certainly a strange episode. I approve.

Additional fun fact: There was a 24 joke in one of the end-episode joke screens shortly after Koyama took over.

The best thing about the 24 parody is that it started with Kogorou saying, "Damn!"--which just so happens to be Jack Bauer's favorite word.
