I have to say the only thing I liked in this MF was the choice of the music, they played a nice version of Ran's theme at the end and this great theme (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePYLSTg2Qlw) when Conan speaks with the lady from the store. The rest cannot be saved.

The first 10 second of that theme I was remind of theme for Gremlins from the 1980's...
