After the new ED, I was kinda worried that it would be a horribly animated OP.  But it's definitely better than any of the OPs they've done the past few years.

What is with Yukiko being drawn different and having a different hair color in the OP?  It's always been dark brown until now.

good song, video meh but then again i didn't hope for much from the beginning. i think too that the real shots\artist guest in the openings aren't a good thing but i guess the animators need time to burn due to lack of scenes to draw.

This will probably be the OP used until at least August, if the past few years indicate anything.  Seems like they keep the OP debuting in late winter/early spring until the end of summer/beginning of fall.

I didn't even think about that.  Although she appeared in Magic File 2(which was released around 504's air date), her last tv appearance was episode 490.   I don't follow the manga, so I don't know about the future cases.  But it seems like Shinichi's parents are due for an appearance.
