Chekhov Macguffin made a big Okiya/Akai post somewhere, and she goes on about Okiya's name in there. I forget what exactly it all is, but there's more to the name that insinuates that he's Akai other than that.

Since somebody mention it.
Relation between Akai's and Subaru's name. Consider as spoiler for Bourbon arc

"The energies of our system will decay; the glory of the sun will be dimmed, and the earth, tideless and inert, will no longer tolerate the race which has for a moment disturbed its solitude. Man will go down into the pit, and all his thoughts will perish. The uneasy consciousness, which in this obscure corner has for a brief space broken the contented silence of the universe, will be at rest. Matter will know itself no longer. 'Imperishable monuments' and 'immortal deeds,' death itself, and love stronger than death, will be as though they had never been."

Lulz, way to go me for pointing out the obvious and stating something in a section of Checkov’s list that I didn’t get to yet.

And don’t worry, saiyanja, because I don’t get it. 0; Although I see why she’s 007, just not with the name. >_>;

This is what I get for not watching that many movies. 0;
