well, i wouldn't watch DC at all if i couldn't stand the mere sight of blood, but i am generally very put off by scenes where there is blood everywhere. in that scene there wasn't that much bleeding and the damage wasn't long term.

Probably XD Well, there are about 750 files and each murder case normally takes three or four chapters, so I guessed But anyway; how many ways can you kill somebody?

I'm going to be accused of "editor bashing" again, but yes. However the readers, some associations and the social norms also influence Gosho's work. For example, if they want to attract children, it'll be DB cases with no blood.

to be fair, we shouldn't be noticing this as Gosho should have never decreased the amount of plot after the Vermouth arc instead of going against the pacing of basically every shonen ever just because he thinks he is still as consistently good a mystery writer as he was in the 90s.

And I can see Gosho agreeing with the editors on less blood as after a while many creators want to be more "kid-friendly" as they get older.

hell I think the cases during the cell phone arc were on average much better than the cases during the Vermouth arc but do you know a single person that would praise the cell phone arc? No? Exactly.
