The last episode of School Days in which 2 of the characters are killed brutally was suspended from airing for a week or two due to a girl having killed her father in a silimar way in the region. Instead, they played peaceful scenes with classical music playing in the background, one of which was of a Norwegian cruise ship. This started the Nice Boat meme that basically signifies an overly bloody scene in anime and manga.
