I’m surprised people find the Holmes Freak Murder Case weird. xD. I recall hearing awhile back that  some Asian dude married a cartoon/anime character legally. (Sadly, I don’t have the article for this anymore. ;___; It was so far back. Whoever finds it though gets virtual cookies? XD.) But this isn’t about that, but it still proves the level of how obsessive someone can be over something. >.>

I'm pretty sure I remember seeing the article somewhere on this forum.

But that wasn't the motive.  The book was like a cover-up motive.  The motive was somebody wrote a nasty review or something involving the character of Irene Adler.

There is a difference between 'Book' and 'Real' Motive. Just cause they say one thing, do not  mean that, that is the real motive. I might be guilty of over analyzing, but I think he said that to try and get a more sympathetic ear. Would have done better with the 'He ran over my mom'. If that is the true motive (bad review) then this murder would be because of hate. Does he sound like he hates his victims? I still think this murder was greed " The Book "

I think you're reading too much into it. The guy got all emotional over the fact that someone said bad things about a character he likes... I mean, it's obvious enough that that was his reason for killing those people.

And I still find it incredibly stupid.

How about ep. 397; I couldn't see her turning herself in to the police and wasting the rest of her life in jail, so I killed her.
