Personally, I consider it impossible to manage for anyone. Conan's far too cartoony to make sense as live-action and have even remotely the same effect; much of its charm would be lost acted out in front of a camera. The first live action drama was somewhat.... fun... at the time if only for the novelty, but the second kind of proved why this is never going to work. For the second drama to have even been decent, you would have needed a Japanese child actor with some versatility. Considering how rare that trait is even amongst adult actors in the market in question, I can't say I ever really had high hopes for either of the actual dramas.
Fun fact: Nothing on DCTV back in the day saw heckling as extensive as did the two dramas. Anytime we did play them, they were mocked from beginning to end. I think the red panda zoo videos went over better with the Conan demographic.
