It's a bit of a long shot, considering that they haven't ever met. But as many other have stated, they do have some commonalities that would at least make them friends (if they did not immediately get off on the wrong foot of course...unless that IS their starting point for romance as Gosho seems to prefer a 'bickering like an old married couple' route).

You really want to read DC for the next 20 years?

I can only handle it if it continues for less than 10 years, otherwise maybe I will stop reading before DC ends.

When it comes to Conan x Ai/Ran/Ayumi, I am a neutral really. I just ship Hakuba and Ai because they're a lot a like.
